Pad printing is an indirect form of printing. First, a film is made of each printing color. This is exposed on a flat plate, creating recesses in the plate. These depressions, the printing form, are filled with ink that is absorbed by a smooth and elastic stamp (the tampon). The tampon transfers the ink to the paper clips to be printed.
The WingClip, AxionClip and PromoClip are printed from 2.500 pieces by pad printing. Other paper clips with logo can in some cases be ordered in lower numbers. Pad printing is in most cases with PMS colors. From 5,000 pieces, pad printing is also possible in full-color. These are a total of 5 colors, CMYK and white. CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Cyan, magenta, yellow and black together make full color. When you place printing in PMS colors and full-color printing next to each other, there may be a slight deviation in the colors. This has to do with the difference in printing process.
