Digital printing is a direct form of printing. You can compare it with the laser printer on your desk. As with pad printing, it does not use a plate and ink. A digital printer uses toners instead of ink. The quality of digitally printed paper clips is getting better.
Some paper clips that can be digitally printed are for example the WingClip, AxionClip, BudgetClip, GripClip, ML Clip and the WingClip XL. In this printing process, the blank clips are placed in a mold, after which the logo is printed on them. The advantage of digital printing is that the paper clips with logo are available in smaller quantities. For example, the GripClip is available from 250 pieces and the DutchClip even from 125 pieces. Depending on the number of printing colors, we recommend pad printing.
Our logo consists of PMS color numbers. Now what?
When we receive a logo consisting of PMS colors this is no problem. We then convert the logo to full-color. The digital printer will approach the PMS color numbers as closely as possible. There can always be a slight difference between full-color printing and printing in PMS colors. Also due to different surfaces such as stainless steel of a paper clip, the matte paper of a letter paper or envelope and the smooth paper of a folder, you can experience (light) color differences.
